Field Day
Field Day included the celebration of our Yankee Candle fund-raiser. Students turned in their 'duct tape' and 'water balloon' tickets from their individual sales of Yankee Candles. A total of 133 'duct tape' tickets and 155 'water balloon' tickets were issued. Coach Conyers, to encourage candle sales that greatly helped raise money for our school, agreed to be duct-taped by students and become the wet recipient of their water-balloon toss. Thanks to all that purchased a Yankee Candle item. Special thanks from MMS PTA to Coach Conyers' for his participation which made our YC fund-raiser a huge success!
MMS Winter Dance
The first Winter Dance was held on February 11th by McAdory Middle School PTA. Along with music provided by DJ Conyers, students also received pizza, sodas, and cookies. Proceeds helped raise money towards the purchase of a much needed floor-cleaning machine for MMS.
